Club Go Green - The Green Action

As an important part of the Go Green Program, Go Green Club (GGC) was first launched in August 2008 to create a playground and link all young people nationwide to help them enhance the awareness of environmental protection and join hand for a green Viet Nam. GGC will implements directly some activities in Go Green Program and becomes a bridge between the young volunteers with young people nationwide to raise the awareness of environment protection.

 

GGC’s 1st year anniversary


April 13th 2009, GGC was officially launched in HCM city to expand the range of their activities in South. Since its founding, GGC has continued to develop widely. From some tens of initial members, the GGC membership has reached 1000 volunteers nationwide with variety of activities: Online and Offline. Online activities are now available at http://www. gogreen.com.vn.

 

 

In addition there are many practical activities that have been implemented positively such as “Hi! My name is Go Green” taking place in universities and colleges, and the “Eco bag” campaign has approached 30 major offices in Hanoi. In this campaign, GGC members have come nearly 30 offices in Hanoi. Besides, the Go Green Club has also cooperated and connected with environmental volunteer clubs to create an effective large-scale activity such as: Motanai Festival, Planting Festival, No Smoking Day, “The Youth and environmental issues - from awareness to responsibility” Forum on VTV 6 with the participation of many volunteer clubs in Hanoi...
