With spirit of supporting and sharing, TMV carried out charity activities to assist community. These activities are the annual social contribution that aims to move forward to a brighter future of Vietnam and its people.
- Presenting Lunar New Year’s gifts for war invalid families
Since 1997, on the occasion of spring, TMV has presented gifts for war-invalid families and the Old-aged Associations in Phuc Thang and Kim Hoa ward, Phuc Yen Town, Vinh Phuc Province. This activity is considered as a great human activity from TMV – the company with experience of 14 years operation.
Through the program, TMV partly expresses the support to local community. Although the gift value is not much, it brings happiness and warmess to the families at the Lunar New year.
- Supporting for the victims of natural disasters:
As one of the social contribution activities, the donation programs for the victims of natural disasters and floods are annually held by TMV with the spirit of sharing difficulties for the poor people,
With deeply sympathy and desire of sharing and supporting for the natural disaster’s victims and their families to overcome difficulties as well as spiritual and material damages , representatives of TMV directly come and donates money to individuals and families who suffered damages of human and property caused by natural disasters.
The remarkable activities of TMV in supporting for natural disaster’s victims:
1. Supported directly VND 200 millions to the 43 families who has damage of human in No. 9 typhoon (Ketsana) in Da Nang city and Quang Ngai province.
2. Donated VND 68 million to the victims of the heavy flood in Vinh Phuc in 11/2008.
3. Donated VND 160 million to support 57 families who were victims of No.5 typhoon and the Lekima flood in Nghe An province in 2007.
4. Donated VND 180 million to the victims of typhoons No.6 & No.7 (Xangsane and Chanchu) in 2006.
5. Supported victims of the flood in Phu Tho and Yen Bai Provinces in 2005.
6. Donated VND 90 million to support victims of floods in five provinces in the Centre in 2004.
Other charitable activities:
1. Donated gratitude houses and pledged long-life support for the heroic mothers of three martyrs.
2. Donated a fully equipped classroom to a school and kindergarten in Phuc Thang ward, Phuc Yen town, Vinh Phuc province.
3. Donated a Hiace ambulance to the General Hospital in Quang Nam Province in 2005.
4. Supported the Spring circus.
