In HCM city, April 2nd, 2010 - on April 11th, 2010, at the center of Cultureand Labor, 55B Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, district 1, Ho Chi Minh city, “Green living open day” will be held with many diverse activities of environmental protection with the aim to propagandize for  changing bad habits causing negativeeffects to the environment. This program is held by Go Green Club in Ho Chi Minh city- is patronized by TMV. This significant activity is one part of the Go Green Program initiated and implemented by TMV in co-operation with Ministry of Education & Training (MOET) and Vietnam Environment Administration (VEA) since 2008.

Participating on “Green living open day”, young people will have chances to experience “green areas”: green space, green school, green house, green playground and play, study and exchange with each other and experience Eco Friendly Living. This big event expectedly to attract about 5000 attendants.

In “Green living open day”, it’s aactivities not only offer young people a green space with the Eco friendly products, games about environmental protection, but also bring much useful knowledge about energy saving tipsin the offices and so on. In the open day, young people will have chances to exchange with celebrities such as Singer Hien Thuc, Singer Minh Thuan…who will bring popular songs into the festival and share their “unveiled secrets” about their green life style.

Especially, one of the most significant activities is bringing old clothes forbeing washed  by a new technology without soap, in order to give to poor people.

All activities will contribute to changepeople tohavegreen lifestyles and become a standard for individuals and be more responsible to the community and themselves.

All proceeds from booths will be contributed toa Charity fund, which will be used to improve living condition for poor/disable children in the city.
