Hanoi, 6/4/2010 – Today, Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) to cooperate with the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and the Vietnam Environment Administration (VEA) officially announces 15 exelent environment projects were choosed in the final round of the “Green Idea contest” – be one part in Go Green program. The “Green Idea contest” is a new initiative in order to enhance the community awareness of the environment and contribute to improvement of the environment quality in Vietnam.

Launching from 28/9/2009 till the deadline on 19/3/10, the Board of Contest has received nearly 800 projects of 1600 candidates and teams nationwide. They are almost young students and pupils, in which the youngest candidate was born in 1995. Although the old people are not subject of the contest, there was a 92 year-old man sending his opinion and encouragement to the Contest. Besides, the Contest has also received the response from the Vietnam youths living and studying overseas as well as foreign students.

The Board of Examiners of the “Green Idea contest ” including 9 confidential prestigious professors, doctors, scientists who much contribute to environment. According to the assessment of the Board of Examiners, with the good creativeness, reality and feasibility, 15 exelent projects choosen to the final round have showed clearly the faculty of thoughts, study, creativess of the youth with a desire to contribute a part of their effort into the change of Vietnam environment actual state currently.

Especially, each excelent project choosen into the final round named “Festival Day of Green Idea” will be supported 2,000,000 VND for decoration their boot with the width of 4m2. The Festival Day of Green Idea Contest will be held on 25 April at Horizon Hotel, Hanoi. There, the contestants will present direcly their ideas. The Board of Contest will visit each boot to listen to the presentation and select 3 best ideas. 3 best ideas will be assessed and support with the expense of about 250 million VND per project for implementation, help for these ideas becoming practical, contributing to improvement of the environment qualty in Vietnam currently.

1. The award structure of the examination at the total value is 215 million dong including:

- 12 consolation prizes, each one valued 10million VND

- 01 third prize valued 15million VND

- 01 second prize valued 20 million VND

- 01 first prize valued 30 million VND

- 01 The first, second and third prizes wil be sponsored the funds in order to apply the ideas into reality (the average sponsor rate for each project up to 250 million VND). In additioan to cash prizes, the winers wil be presented Certificate and campaign medal.
