In 12 and 13/07/2010, Asia – Pacific Toyota skill contest was held in Thailand with the participation of 138 contestants from 10 different countries.

This year, Toyota Vietnam (TMV) has 14 candidates. Final results, TMV reached No. 4 with 2 Gold medals, one Silver medal, two Bronze medals. This is the first year TMV has achieved two prestigious gold medals. Mr Bui Huy Diep (Painting Shop), who won gold medals in the contest reminisced the moments of happiness of winning, "in14 years working in TMV, but this is the first exam I have had an opportunity to join, I myself do not think I won highest award. It is not only the happiness of me, but with all the brothers in the team. It`s a great honor to be a member of TMV".

This year, there are many strong opponents. It is a general review of all TMV members. In particular, while other countries have good investment and have many "fans", the TMV group is quite humble. However, with the steady spirit and good skills, TMV`s candidates is also to make many opponents have to respect.

It is said that the competition is not limited to make a healthy playing field for good skilled technicians, but also be one of very practical activities aimed at improving the quality of technicians/workers, bringing about better products/service for Toyota`s customers.

HISTORY

- The first time (2007): 4 TMV`s candidates, no medal.

- The second time (2008): 9 TMV`s candidates, 3 Silver medals và 3 Bronze medals

- The third time (2009): 12 thành viên tham dự, đạt được 4 Silver medals và 2 Bronze medals.

- The fourth time (2010): 14 thành viên tham dự, đạt 2 Gold medals, 1 Silver
