Hanoi, May 14, 2010 - Toyota Motor Vietnam cooperated with the Ministry of Education and Training to  officially sign the cooperate memorandum on "Developing Sport Activities for Students ". According to that, TMV will be the main sponsor for TOYOTA NATIONAL STUDENT VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT since 2010. This Program will  be organized for students of Universities, Colleges, institutes (including both private and state’s ones) nationwide, in order to support for sport activities development, helps create a healthy playground for students to do exercise and seeking for young talents.

During the time of 2010-2012, the two sides agree to conduct annual Toyota National Student Volleyball Tournament. The qualify round will be held in 9 areas nationwide in September- October. The Final round will be held in November at a province or city selected by the organization committee.

In 2010, the Toyota National College Volleyball Tournament will be conducted in 02 trial areas (Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city). After that, it will be expanded in subsequent years. In particular, the total support in 2010 is nearly 1.9 billion VND.

It can be said that this is a meaningful social contribution activities in socialization of sport; to support the development of sport in the student movement in general and the development of volleyball in particular subjects; to improve the health, ethical education and contribute to comprehensive education students; to recognize and choose volleyball talents among students to supplement Vietnam Student Group of Sports completing in ASEAN College Sport Festivals.
