Apr 25, 2010, at room Van Mieu, Hanoi Horison Hotel, the tournament`s Green Ideas Contest was held with the participation of 15 candidates, 15 master`s project, along with 14 Clubs love the environment and about 1200 young people.

Thus, through 800 projects from all over the country (first round) and 12 other projects (in total 15 projects in final round ), three best projects were selected and announced.

On the festival day, the Board of Examiners is divided into 3 groups to visit booths, listen to presentations, interview and discuss with group of authors and judge presentations on the scale of 100 (exact to the unit of one). Each group of authors has 5 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes to interview with the Board (in total 10 minutes).

Criteria include: creativity (30% of the total grades), feasibility (50%) and environment safety (20%). The ones with highest grades will be announced after the last decision of the Board of Examiners.

3 best ideas will be financially supported by TMV with the average amount of 250 million VND for each project to realize those ideas in order to improve Vietnam`s environmental quality. They are:

1. Isave.com - Energy Saving sollution and env`t protection: Pham Ngoc Thang (Hanoi)

2. Soft Concrete from dipper made of coconut shell: Nguyen Tan Khoa (TP.Ho Chi Minh)

3. Raising awareness on Env`t & Climate Changes for fisher community through religious  activities in Vietnam ( experimental in Nam Dinh): Tran Thi Xuan Thuy (Hanoi)

In addition, 12 consolation prizes worth 10,000,000 VND for each prize were also given.
